Giving Opportunities, Schloarship Fund

Since 1938, thousands of students have called The Episcopal Student Center at Texas A&M home. It has been a place of spiritual growth, worship and a home away from home for so many.

The Episcopal Student Center at Texas A&M University/Canterbury is a unique place where faith and knowledge intersect, to transform the lives of those who teach and those who learn. We do this by. . .

  • Weekly Worship and a Free Family Style Dinner

  • Service projects both local (Habitat For Humanity and The Big Event) and abroad (Belize and Nicaragua)
  • Spiritual Formation through Bible Study, group discussions, and exploration of The Spirituality Center, a place of interactive exploration of prayer, icons, sacred music.
  • Radical Hospitality at Café Canterbury, an “alternative door” for students to experience God’s Love and Grace through the hospitality from our student baristas, for free.  All donations go to support the Millennium Development Goals adopted by the Episcopal Church to end extreme poverty and hunger in the world by 2015.
  • Fellowship by attending Aggie Muster, Aggie Baseball games, Scavenger Hunts, game nights, and so much more!

Can Canterbury count on your support. Won’t you please consider giving a monetary gift to help us continue to grow the vibrant community at The Episcopal Student Center at Texas A&M? Your gift will transform lives and raise up the future leaders of the church and the world!  Thank You!

Traditionally, this ministry has been funded through the missionary giving from the congregations of the Diocese of Texas, and, with their support, we have been tremendously successful! Due to the economy, this giving has seen a decrease in recent years.
